Yacht Solutions has managed projects of various sizes in Thailand since 2001. Originally the projects were primarily based in Phuket with vessels ranging in size from 25ft – 75ft. With the development of relationships with yards and contractors in Bangkok a project on a 53m Motor Vessel was completed in the first half of 2007 and an ongoing conversion project is underway on a 60m Motor Vessel.
At present depending on the size of the vessel high quality work can be managed in either Phuket or Bangkok. With Western managers in place and a highly skilled support team of bilingual Thais a project of any size or complexity can be planned and managed in a professional timely manner.
Thailand boasts some of the best quality marine workmanship in Asia, this married with cost effective labour can offer the yacht owner very competitive, high quality work. The expatriate management will ensure a one point of contact to follow through the whole project.
Phuket Project Management Program
Yacht Solutions has devised a Project Management Program that has a proven track record in Phuket. One designated contact at Yacht Solutions will work through the project and will offer advice and recommendations where necessary. The next stage will bring together the best contractors available in the area to offer quotations and once agreed Yacht Solutions will closely oversee all work carried out aboard the vessel. Yacht Solutions will act as your representative in Thailand for all marine related issues.

Bangkok Project Management Program
The city of Bangkok and the surrounding area is home to numerous shipyards with a wealth of experience in builds and repairs. Yacht Solutions has developed a close working relationship with a number of yards and contractors to offer Pleasure Vessels an alternative location to carry out any necessary Yard Work. The specifications of the vessel, the nature of the work and the time frame of the planned work at hand will determine the location of the chosen yard for any project work. A management team can then be located on site to oversee the work.
