 Whilst on a circumnavigation Whale Song a 33m expedition vessel contacted Yacht Solutions to begin preparations for necessary refit work prior to their arrival in Thailand. All possible arrangements were made before the vessel even entered Thai waters to ensure a smooth and efficient transition from cruising yacht to a yacht under refit.
With a deadline determined by the owners cruising requirements, a work plan was agreed upon and undertaken to complete the following in a six month period
- Full topside and superstructure painting
- Various interior and exterior carpentry projects
- Engine re-builds
- Thru hull and plumbing work
- Air con refit
- Interior refitting
- New decks
- Hull, prop and shaft work
- Metal fabrication
- New awnings
- New passerelle
All the above work was completed by contractors within Phuket, on time and within the agreed budget.
